District-11 Vision 2030

Colorado Springs School District-11 is always doing it's best to prepare our students for "a world yet to be imagined."  As the biggest, oldest, and most established school district in Colorado Springs, it is our duty to keep looking ahead and making sure our students are given the skills, education, and experiences they need to be competitive in the new global marketplace.  To do that, we need to continue to grow and build through infrastructure, maintenance, and upgrades.  District 11 also wants to hear from you!  Do you have feedback for ways that our schools could be better improved?  In what ways can we better serve children?  To learn more about what District 11 is trying to do for students or if you have a comment or a question for us, please visit the Project Vision 2030 website by clicking here!

Calling all Volunteers!

Would you like to volunteer at McAuliffe Elementary this school year?  We are always in need of volunteers to help out in our classrooms, in the library, on field trips, and for other events throughout the school year.  District 11 policy requires all volunteers to complete a Volunteer Registration Form.  Click here to begin your Volunteer Registration.

All registration forms must be printed and brought into the McAuliffe office, along with a picture ID, to complete the volunteer registration process.  If you do not have access to a computer and/or printer, you may complete your volunteer registration form at McAuliffe.

If you have previously completed a Volunteer Registration form, there is no need to complete another one.  The office can check to see if you are still a registered volunteer.  If you have questions regarding the volunteer registration process or volunteer opportunities at McAuliffe, please call the office at 228-0900.

School Uniforms:

All students are expected to adhere to uniform policy at all times. Uniforms consist of beige khaki pants, shorts, or school appropriate skirts (no navy blue) along with a black, white, navy, or light blue shirt with a collar and no logo. There is no required brand for any part of the uniform. Special days will be designated as non-uniform days (picture day, pajama day, Halloween, etc.). On colder days, turtlenecks and sweaters that adhere to uniform colors are allowed.
For uniform assistance contact  the office at 719-228-0900
Car Pool:
Do you need help getting your children to and from school?  The Colorado Springs Transit Service provides the Metro Rides' School pool Program.  It is a free matching service to help parents find local car pools to aid in getting their kids to and from school.
